Fincas Patagónicas Vineyards
Fincas Patagónicas selects grapes from historic vineyards known as the first zone located in Agrelo, Tupungato, Ugarteche and Maipů, in Mendoza, the most important and extensive wine region from Argentina and one of the major wine regions of South America. In the year 2007, a new Farm in Cafayate, Salta, famous area for the excellent Torrrontés was incorporated.
The Fincas Patagónicas Vineyards Include:
- 90 has (198 acres) in Agrelo, along the wine route that connects several renowned mendocinas wineries. The new Farm Winery is located here.
- 452 has (994.4 acres) in the high Uco Valley near Tupungato at the base of the Andes. The Farm is located 1.340 meters high. (4395 ft) in height, being one of the highest vineyards in Mendoza and the origin of several of our reserves.
- 30 has (66 acres) in La Arboleda, Tupungato nearly 1100 meters high. (3.608 ft) high, where the Malbec grape gets its best colors and aromas in the current process of certification, as an organic vineyard to our Spirit of the Andes line.
- 242 has (532.4 acres) in Alto Agrelo, on route 876, on the way.
- 10 has (22 acres) in Maipu, with vines more than 80 years old surrounded by olive trees from where our Tapiz oil is obtained. Tapiz Club and Casa Zolo is located in this site which is declared Historic monument.
- 60 has (132 acres) in Vista Flores, south of Mendoza and 1100 meters high. (3608 ft).
- 85 has (187 acres) in Yacochuya, Cafayate, Salta Province, on Route 40 at 2000 meters high. (6560 ft).
